What is a Final year Project?

The BE, BTech, BCA, MCA and other graduation students will have to do a dissertation on a certain topic of their own interest with the guidance of a lecturer. The project is done by the students for a period of 3 to 6 months. It is done in order to test the technical efficiency of the students and they are rewarded with marks based on the effectiveness of the project.
Occasionally the students are advised to do a project in a company where they gain knowledge and practical experience of a corporate environment. This would help them to gain a real time experience and enrich the knowledge level.

What is the objective behind a project?

• To explore the students talents.
• To enable a student to experience the real challenge that they will have to face in the working place.
• To evaluate the students efficiency and the knowledge that they have gained during their course.
